PRESS RELEASE

Alfreda Gerald returns to the music scene with a new song called "Broken Promised Land" written by Warren Haynes, legendary lead singer and guitarist of The Allman Brothers Band and Government Mule. Since it's recent pre-release, Broken Promised Land has received many positive reviews for its unique blend of rock 'n' roll, with a cinematic, orchestral backdrop.

For many, Alfreda's performance on Broken Promised Land was not at all surprising considering how her talents have seen her work with legendary names like Yanni, Sir Elton John, Warren Haynes, and Oteil Burbridge (Dead and Company).

"Broken Promised Land" signifies where we are now. The world has been through so much recently, and the promised land that we all thought we had, or were looking for, turned out to be broken. So many of us were forced to do things we thought we would never do, just to survive. Some turned to selling drugs, drug and alcohol addiction, or were forced into the streets by lack of financial resources. Many were forced to live in abusive conditions, even deciding to sell their souls. That's what this song is about. We are here now, and it doesn't taste like freedom."

-Alfreda Gerald the international singing sensation works with Grammy award winner Warren Haynes, the songwriter, with contributions from Trammell Starks (The London Symphony Orchestra), the producer and arranger of the song. "Broken Promised Land" offers an amazing fusion of rock 'n' roll, with a cinematic orchestra backdrop. Alfreda aims to take listeners on a fantastic journey that includes her "Powerhouse" vocals - a blend of Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Tina turner, Steven Tyler, and Steve Perry, showing her versatility, creativity, and ingenuity, as an entertainer. "Broken Promised Land" was worth the wait after a hiatus from the scene, as Alfreda aims to create an unprecedented musical experience for all music lovers worldwide.
